Hi everyone, I’m Paul Shiver (Shī · ver) — a singer/songwriter/producer. In the early 1990’s, after 8 years of performing as a lead singer for the United States Navy Rock/Country Band, I organized a media production company – Lexington Aire Productions, where I composed, recorded, and produced music, media, and other singers. For some unexplained reason, I have an ever growing passion and drive to do it. In fact, I’ve had this musical passion all my life, and, at times, it’s been somewhat of a burden – even getting in the way of other career successes. For a comparison, if you remember the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” where he couldn’t get the mountain out of his head, and was relentlessly driven toward finding it? Well, that’s me with music.

I’m soon to be 59 years old and the kids are grown. In fact, there are now wonderful grand-kids in the mix. But, I still feel every bit as prompted and driven to create and share myself through music as I ever did. So, for the first time in my life, I’m setting out to do just that – write, record, and promote some of my own stuff.

It’s humbling to say the least. I claim absolutely nothing, nor am I out to try and be the next trend-setter. My only hope is that there are some folks out there who my music might connect and resonate with.

I invite everyone to come along with me – as I venture out (at age 59) on this journey into the unknown.
